Raveen Thukral quits Aaj Samaj , India News

New Delhi: Raveen Thukral has quit as Editor in Chief of Hindi daily Aaj Samaj and India News television channel. Raveen Thukral who resigned on first day of this month officially bid adieu on Thursday.

“Time has come to say good-bye. After spending 26 fruitful years in journalism, I have decided to take a break (a well deserved one, I think) for a few months and spend time with my family, which has always accused me of giving them the second place in my life,” Raveen Thukral said in an official mail to colleagues.

“I can only describe the last three years in this organisation as extremely productive - where I attempted to put in my best to bring the best out of you. The success of all our regional channels, which topped the TRPs on several occasion, and Aaj Samaj that has gained acceptability across Haryana, is a testimony to our hard work. I would always cherish this and I thank you all for your support,” Raveen Thukral said.
