Jalandhar-Amritsar Bhaskar Circulation touches 1.96 Lakh mark

The circulation of Dainik Bhaskar in Jalandhar and Amritsar has touched 1.96 mark , a Bhaskar Group spokesperson said. Jalandhar and Amritsar editions were launched recently.

'Bhaskar management has computed their combined average net paid sales at 1.96 lakh copies for the period Jan 1 to March 23, 2007. The circulation was achieved in a short span of six months since its launch in Punjab. Ernst & Young were commissioned to perform certain agreed procedures on management's computation to validate the operation of key controls in the process.'
Sanjeev Kotnala, AVP and National Head, Communication, Bhaskar Group said.

Kotnala attributes this success to the focused marketing strateties and feedback mechanism.

"This is great news, as we launched in Punjab just six months back. This is the result of our reader focused marketing strategies and feedback mechanism that we follow to ensure the brand meets and surpasses reader expectations and interests. This in addition to the IMRB readership survey proves what the group has been claiming in Punjab."

Says Dharmendra Atri, GM-Punjab, Bhaskar Group, "The audit from Ernst and Young has further strengthened our claim. It's an accolade for the team's hard work and it proves that success is gained by putting in synergistic efforts."
