Kolkata: Keeping the brand promise in mind Zee bangla Cinema started an on- ground activity called “Superhit Para Fight”- a unique competition (talent hunt within the genre) amongst 24 paras of different areas of Kolkata and its greater partreached out to large span of audience of more than 1000 people in each para (locality) to deliver the brand promise.
The television promo saw superstar Sohom inviting the para fighters to battle it out. Ultimately, 24 paras were selected for the competition. The pre-promotion phase of ‘ Superhit Para Fight” began from mid June. Through posters, banners, television promos, microphone announcements, club invitations, extensive promotion in Radio Mirchi, on air promotion were the principal modes of promotion.
The para (locality) competitions were judged by eminent celebrities like Rita Kayral and Manashi Sinha. Zee Bangla Cinema has also connected with consumers daily life by engaging and interacting with people ( via superhit para fight) by having different contests based on Zee Bangla Cinema proposition and winners received Zee Bangla Cinema Calendars, cups and daily use necessary things like rice, dal etc. Each para ( locality) and winner- 1st runner up – 2nd runner up received trophies and certificates.24 superhit para winners emerged from these competitions who competed with each other at the final event for the winning position.
Zee Bangla Cinema made winner’s life superhit by uploading their video on air and facebook. Voting drive for best performance through on air promo, aston band and social media which received a massive response, voting score was added in the final judging round.The Grand Finale of this event took place at Geetanjali Udyan – open ground on 17th November’13, saw 24 representatives from 24 paras fighting it out on the center-stage.
A crowd of more than 5,000 people witnessed this superhit final which was judged by celebrities like Sreelekha Mitra and Geetashree, the protagonist of the serial “Rashi”. The final event also had superhit performances from singer Samidh and Miss Jojo and tollywood heartthrob Hiron also graced the occasion.The winner Mohua Dey from Serampore Seba Sangha received a cheque of Rs. 50,000, 1st runner up Priyanshu Dey from Sinthi Shakti Sangha received Rs.30,000 and 2nd runner up Bappa Biswas and Moumita Saha from Rammohan Smriti Sangha & Baranagar Nabajibon Jubak Sangha recieved Rs. 20,000 from Zee Bangla Cinema.

Superhit Para Fight proved to be a grand success and a superhit inspiration for the audience. An annual property which Zee Bangla Cinema continue each year to reach out to large span of audience to deliver the brand promise – “Jibon Ekhon Superhit.
