Yatra.com launces new generation website

Yatra .com has announced the launch of its next generation travel website.

“We at Yatra believe that Customer is the king and that our web site should reflect our caring attitude and efficacy. We don’t get a chance to meet all our customers but our endeavor is to ensure that when they visit our website they feel the ‘Vibrant Yatra’. We understand that the website should evolve continuously to match up with the changing tastes, preferences, behavior and needs of our customers. The loyal customers of Yatra who have used the previous versions of the website since August 2006 would realize the quantum leap of the new interface during this time span as also the evolution of their expectations,” Dhruv Shringi, Co Founder & CEO of Yatra, said.

Yatra engaged a UK based Agency to conduct extensive usability studies across India to come up with the most popular interface prototypes. Subsequently the promoters zeroed in to the current interface which will give Yatra’s customers a delightful and a lively experience which is reflected by the all new Aqua Blue color.

While speaking about the latest development, Dhruv Shringi, Co Founder & CEO of Yatra, said, “Travelers are always looking for an experience that is fast, hassle free and efficient. The new Yatra.com user interface helps the user access multiple information thus reducing navigation time. This in turn facilitates better user experience and allows the user to make quicker, more informed decisions.”

He further added “This initiative will establish Yatra.com as a company, which not only adapts the latest technology, but also focuses on the product and service innovation which can be well estimated by the fact that In the last couple of months alone Yatra has introduced several new services like, 51% Cash Back on companion’s travel, an exclusive Yatra Barclaycard Platinum Credit Card, Compensation for flight delays, Best Fare Challenge and Cash Back on International tickets for Net Banking customers. The new interface will make these schemes more visible and systematic.
