Yahoo ! Launches Yahoo! Messenger 11 Beta

Mumbai: Continuing its commitment to be the center of people’s online lives, Yahoo! announced the launch of Yahoo! Messenger Beta and Yahoo! Mail Beta, aimed to enhance the communication experience. Both the products exemplify more intuitive ways to navigate, connect and organize the relevant content by offering a much faster and safer experience.

People can opt-in to Yahoo! Mail Beta and easily navigate and organize their inbox, browse photos and videos, more efficiently search for emails and benefit from improved spam protection. Yahoo! Messenger Beta makes it fun and easy to share, connect, and play with friends and family – anywhere anytime. The new Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger give consumers an enriched and seamless online communications experience across all devices – desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

Messenger Beta not only offers instant message, text, and voice and video call, now you can also play some of the most popular social games with friends, starting with games from publishers like Zynga, Elex, and OMGPOP. You can also share your game activities and play-status so that your friends can join your game and you can join theirs.

Manage all your social networks from one place- Now you can view, comment on and like real-time updates from Yahoo! Pulse, Flickr, Facebook and Twitter, all from right within Yahoo! Messenger Beta. You can post one status and share it across multiple social networks simultaneously – Yahoo! Pulse, Facebook, and Twitter. Now you can also stay connected with your Facebook friends as you can send or receive IMs from Facebook right within Yahoo! Messenger Beta.

Stay connected anytime, anywhere- Now you can converse virtually anywhere – Start your IM conversations on your PC and continue them from your mobile phone or any Internet-enabled device. You can also retrieve recent IM conversations from any PC where you have signed in to Yahoo! Messenger and take the conversation across devices at the same time. Yahoo! Mail Beta lets people view and share updates from Yahoo!, Facebook, Twitter, and beyond. Additional features include enhanced IM and SMS capabilities for seamless chatting and texting from within mail.
