Weber Shandwick Tops Indian PR and Corporate Communications Awards

New Delhi :Corporate Voice | Weber Shandwick (CVWS), India’s most awarded PR consultancy, received more awards than any other organization at the inaugural Indian PR and Corporate Communications Awards (IPRCCA), held on 16 March 2011.

In a glittering award ceremony, CVWS received accolades for all entries submitted, including: Both Best use of media/marketing/consumer data for PR planning/strategy (Winner) and Out of box PR idea (Winner) for P&G Gillette’s Women Against Lazy Stubble (WALS) campaign ,best use of PR for a social cause (Winner) for the Every One campaign, managed on behalf of Save The Children and best Use of Public Relations by Private Sector Entity – Agency (Honorable Mention) for P&G Oral B’s Smile India campaign

Speaking on the occasion, Shiv Reddy, Corporate Voice | Weber Shandwick CEO, said, “Industry peer awards are the best recognition of great work, and I thank our colleagues across the country for this acknowledgement. We continue to be very proud of our team and the work we deliver to our clients.”

Atul Ahluwalia, Corporate Voice | Weber Shandwick president, added, “We have over 10 international awards to date, but winning three main awards in India is something we can be immensely proud of.”

The new awards program was organized by Exchange4Media Group to recognize the contribution and success of the PR industry in the country. In its first year, the awards have received over 120 entries across 23 categories. The jury for the awards included senior professionals from the Indian PR and Corporate Communication industry.
