Yes Bank , India’s fourth largest private sector bank, has entered into a strategic partnership with Twitter for its missed call services. Twitter’s unique missed call offering is the result of the latest acquisition of ZipDial, a mobile engagement and analytics platform.
The partnership is a further reinforcement of Yes Bank’s continued focus and investment towards adoption of Digital and Social Media. Customers can now place a missed call to the number 011 3008 0888. They will then be able to receive Tweets from the Twitter account of Yes Bank (@YESBANK). This will include updates on the latest news, events and the exciting discounts and offers from the Bank. The move leverages Twitter’s ability to provide engaging content from Yes Bank to all users especially offline users. The collaboration is a further reinforcement of Yes Bank’s continued focus and investment towards adoption of Digital and Social Media.
Valerie Wagoner, Global Director of Growth Markets, Twitter said, “We applaud the innovation by YES BANK to become the first Indian financial services partner to work with us. This is a strong sign of their focus on customer service and we look forward to doing more.”
Speaking about the partnership, Anindya Datta, Chief Marketing Officer, Yes Bank added, “Yes Bank is committed to usher innovative solutions to help our customers and followers on Social Media to connect with the bank. This innovative partnership with Twitter will facilitate Yes Bank to reach its stakeholders who do not have an online Twitter account, thereby helping us penetrate deeper in the retail segment. We will use this service to build up significant traction during the Indian Premier League, where Yes Bank is an Official Central Partner”.
Yes Bank is the most followed bank on Twitter with over 3 lakh followers and has over 1.5 million fans on Facebook. It has been ranked as fastest growing Indian BFSI brand on Facebook & Twitter and second fastest growing BFSI brand on Facebook globally.
