Turkcell's Tone Win Wins GSMA Best Mobile Advertising Service Award

Turkcell’s “Tone & Win” mobile advertising platform has won the top award in the “Best Mobile Advertising Service” category at the 14th GSMA Global Mobile Awards, regarded as the Oscars of the GSM world, in Barcelona.

Turkcell’s CEO, Sureyya Ciliv, received the award on 17 February at the Barcelona Palau Nacional and commented: “We are very proud to have won this award. Through Tone & Win, Turkcell has introduced a new notion to the world of advertising and we are delighted that the GSMA has recognized its success.”

GSMA CEO Rob Conway congratulated Turkcell, stating that the awards, which were made by a group of global experts, recognized outstanding achievement in an industry renowned for innovation.

Tone & Win, the world’s first RingBack Tone mobile advertising platform, is a unique and innovative solution for the advertising industry. Turkcell customers win airtime or credits depending on the amount of time that their callers listen to a branded RingBack Tone selected by the customer.

It is possible to become a member of Tone & Win through Web, WAP, and SMS. Customers can simply select the branded music of their choice as the RingBack Tone that they want their callers to hear.

Tone & Win has been developed in collaboration with 4play Digital Workshop, a partner which provides innovative products and ideas to Turkcell.
