Trace strengthens position in Asia pay-tv landscape

Trace Group has announced the launch of Trace , the #1 urban television, on two new digital platforms: Indovision (DTH) in Indonesia and SK Broadband (IPTV) in South Korea.

Trace is a high-end urban music and lifestyle channel currently distributed in 132 countries. Trace offers an exclusive mix of the latest music videos of Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Groove, Electro, Salsa, Reggae and unique features, reports and interviews related to urban celebrities and new trends in urban fashion, lifestyle, sports, cinema and dance.

Over the last 2 years, Trace operations in Asia has grown tremendously and Trace linear channel or selected content are already available in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, China and now Indonesia (Indovision) and South Korea (SK Broadband).

This growth demonstrates the very strong appeal of Hip-Hop and urban culture in Asia, where more and more local and international Rap and R&B artists reach #1 position in CD sale, radio and club airplays.
