India’s largest read English daily , Times of India on Saturday announced the launch of Jalandhar,Amritsar and Patiala editions .
‘We are launching a dedicated, all colour 8-page city edition, Times of Ludhiana, that will be available to our local readers along with the main edition of The Times of India’ a TOI release said.
The group after the success of Chandigarh edition is keen to penetrate in other regions of Punjab state. Punjab is the hottest destination state for the Indian markeeteers.
‘A step in our endeavour to have more of Punjab in our newspaper, we hope to soon follow it up with similar editions in other big cities of Jalandhar, Amritsar and Patiala’ the release said.
Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times Group) on Saturday launched The Times of Ludhiana , a city edition which will be circulated along with the main edition of the newspaper.
