Times Business Solutions Limited (TBSL) has announced a slew of high-level people movements with the creation of two new Corporate Level positions of Senior Vice President – Corporate & Head of Innovation and Incubation.
Vivek Madhukar, is being elevated to Senior Vice President – Corporate and will move from heading the TimesJobs business and take up this enhanced role focusing on strategic planning and new initiatives.
Vivek has held several leadership positions in TBSL over the last 7.5 years and has contributed significantly to the growth of TimesJobs enabling it to reach the No.1 position that it currently enjoys as India’s leading e-recruitment portal.
Vivek’s robust understanding of the industry along with his strong execution and strategic planning skills will help charter in the next growth phase of TBSL, as he assumes the responsibilities of business strategy planning, deployment of new initiatives around consumer innovation, competitor strategy mapping and new business ventures.
Amit Jain has been appointed as the new Vice President – TimesJobs, and joins TBSL from Nokia, where he was the Head of Product Management for Nokia’s mobile financial services and was responsible for the development & evolution of the ‘Nokia Money’ product in India.
Amit has over 13 years of experience in sales, product management and marketing in FMCG and technology organizations including the bid brands of Asian Paints and Marico. Amit shall work with Vivek Madhukar and transition into his new role as Business Head.
Sanjay Goyal will take up a new and critical role of Head of Innovation and Incubation, providing greater focus to innovations, conceptualizing and implementing new product initiatives, as well as the development of cutting-edge technological applications that will continue to give TBSL’s businesses unique advantages over competition.
Sanjay has been with TBSL for close to three years and has played a vital role in enabling TimesJobs to achieve and maintain leadership status over competitors on key site metrics as Head of Technology for TimesJobs.
Ram Awasthi will move on to take up the role of Head of Engineering for TimesJobs and will work with Sanjay Goyal to transition into this enhanced role.
This corporate restructuring shows that the only constant in the active and dynamic TBSL organisation is rapid innovation in all aspects of its business processes, which will continue to be the driving force behind TBSL’s growth strategy.
