The Hindu recently launched its Hubli edition which will also feed readers in neighbouring Maharashtra and Goa states. This is the 14th printing centre of the 131 year old newspaper.
According to a The Hindu release, the new edition will be printed and published from Hubli and will reach to the readers in central and north Karnatka besides some parts of north Karnatka . The edition will also be available in north Kannad,Pune and Goa.
Hubli edition will have more local content pages.
The legendry newspaper publishes has 13 other printing centres i.e. Chennai,Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Madurai , Delhi , Vishakhapattnam, Trivandrum , Kochi , Vijyavada , Mangalore , Tiruchanapalli and Kolkata.
