Tata spins emotional quotient , Launches Hindi website

Tata Teleservices Limited, the youngest and fastest-growing pan-India telecom service provider in the country, has announced the launch of its Hindi website—www.tataindicom.com. This initiative is yet another Industry first from Tata Teleservices Limited, a concerted step aimed at building a stronger emotional connect with customers.

Tata Indicom subscribers would now be able to access detailed information about the company, its products and services, besides accessing i-choose (online retail store), Experience Centre (games and music centre), Tariff Comparison Module, Corporate Blog and the Consumer Forum. Furthermore, both the English and Hindi websites of the company are W3C-compliant—thereby enabling those who are visually-challenged the opportunity to independently know more about the company and its portfolio of differentiated products and services.

“This is a key initiative launched by TTSL to target customers who sometimes cannot avail unique services due to language barriers. This localized website will empower our customers to make informed decisions and know more about the company and its offerings in an organized fashion,” Mr Anil Sardana, Managing Director, Tata Teleservices Limited, said. “Not just this, we have also taken a step further and made our website disabled-friendly. The overall objective is simple—step up all overtures to connect with our subscribers, and keep them informed about the best available services and practices in the industry,” he added.

The website, which spins around the emotional quotient in keeping with Tata Indicom’s Suno Dil Ki Awaaz brand campaign, is perfectly crafted to ensure customer trust in the services provided by the company.

Another first for Tata Indicom – in its constant endeavor to explore opportunities to maximize the number of avenues for our esteemed consumers to voice their opinions, share experiences & be heard Tata Indicom launches Consumer Forum blog. This Forum is an important initiative to provide an opportunity within the Brand Tata Indicom’s ecosystem for consumers to generate their own content about the brand Tata Indicom & their experiences with its products & services.

Speaking at the launch of the Hindi website, Vineet Bhatia, TTSL’s Chief Operating Officer Delhi & NCR, Regional Head North Central, said, “We are very excited and optimistic as we are the first telecom operator to launch a Hindi version of our website. The Hindi subset of the Tata Indicom website has been created keeping in mind the huge volume of users who will be comfortable in accessing it in Hindi—our national language. This will enable and help Tata Indicom connect beyond urban areas and reach out to the rural masses.”
