Tata Motors bags Ascendas Website of the Year 2013 award

Hyderabad: Ascendas Website of the Year (WOTY) 2013 announced the winners of the prestigious award today.

In its 7th Indian edition which started on October 14, 2013, the Website of the Year award saw a phenomenal response with 1,24,432 votes cast across 20 categories, making it one of the most voted online award this season.

The online users chose 31 websites as their favourites across 20 nominated categories. The nominated websites were evaluated on the parameters of content, navigation, design, engagement and user interface.

Out of the 238 nominations in 20 popular categories, the following websites emerged as winners for the coveted Ascendas Website of the Year Award 2013 (Indian WOTY chapter):

The India edition on WOTY has seen a significant upsurge in casting of votes, which is 300 % more as compared to the last year. The average age group of the majority of the voters has been between 25 to 34 years, closely followed by 18 to 24 years.

The response for Ascendas Website of the Year 2013 has been geographically spread with maximum number of voters from the Northern part of India, closely followed by the voters from Western and Southern part of India.

Majority of voters have been from Tier 1 cities like Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai etc. New Delhi accounted for around 19.40% of votes followed by 11.47 % from Bangalore and Mumbai at 10.57%.
