Suresh Iyer Appointed Big FM South Regional Director

In a latest development, BIG FM has announced the appointment of Suresh Iyer as Regional Director, South, BIG 92.7 FM. With over 15 years of rich experience in media, Suresh will be spearheading his new role in BIG 92.7 FM based in Chennai and will be looking after the entire functioning of the Southern region.

“We have a great product to offer and we have very talented people on board, and together with the entire team, I am confident that we will continue to put up a great show, as has been done this far ,” Suresh Iyer said .

Suresh Iyer has been with BIG 92.7 FM for over a year, and has played a significant role in shaping the programming content across south as Regional Programming Consultant before being elevated to the position of Regional Director, South.

Suresh Iyer who is a graduate in commerce and Film production has handled various functions in TV media prior to joining BIG 92.7 FM. Suresh Iyer has a rich and varied experience in production and broadcasting domains of TV medium having worked previously in UTV, Mumbai and Star TV’s regional channel Star Vijay, Chennai.

BIG 92.7 FM, India’s No. 1 FM Station and the Radio initiative from Adlabs Films Ltd., since the launch of its first Station in September 2006, has expanded at sturdy speed and is poised to create history by successfully completing its goal for a pan India presence, spanning across 45 cities, 1000 towns and 50,000 villages to reach 200 million Indians across the length and breadth of the country.

The Company is on its way to taking Radio as a medium of entertainment not only to the key metros, but also to virgin markets that have never before experienced this medium of entertainment and has already completed the same in 44 of the 45 targeted cities .In the first phase of its launches, BIG 92.7 FM set up Stations in the metros of Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai. The second phase of launches have taken BIG 92.7 FM to several tier II towns at the end of which the total count will be taken to 45.
