Percept LIVE has announced the entrance of Sunburn into the United Arab Emirates by hosting the first Sunburn Arena tour in Dubai featuring Tiësto. Dj Greg from Dubai set the night for an unprecedented jump by DJ Pearl banging the beats post which maDJam (DJ) floored the dance floor raising the energy levels just enough for Tiesto to take over the region.
The UAE foray marks the third international expansion undertaken by the Indian music and lifestyle festival brand in less than a year. Sunburn has previously organized festivals in Sri Lanka and participated in the International Music Summit, Ibiza, being the first Indian brand to feature in a global music apex. The company further plans to expand Sunburn to Singapore, Thailand and Mexico. Sunburn is organized by Percept LIVE, and is a property of Percept Limited.
After having captured the Indian EDM market, Sunburn has cemented its position as Asia’s biggest LIVE experience brand. This year has marked the festival to rank #4 in the world (In the MIX) which is quite a jump from being #9 for the past few years. Percept aims to expand the brands global reach and tap into live audiences across continents. In India the brand has introduced a number of different formats such as Sunburn Goa festival, Sunburn Superstar, Sunburn Arena and Sunburn Campus Tours to reach out to young EDM fans across the country.
