Star plus using innovative marketing strategies to promote shows

New Delhi: Off late Star Plus has been coming out with very innovative marketing strategies to promote their shows which involves engaging viewers and getting their participation rather than just one way communication.

After a very successful marketing activity recently done on Diya aur Baati Hum around Sooraj’s victory in Singapore, its now the turn of Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. Star Plus’s popular couple, Maanvi and Viraat of Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai are getting married this October, and to celebrate this special occasion, Star Plus has organised a one of it’s kind promotion activity. The idea behind this activity is for viewers across India to give the couple their best wishes, and the best messages selected by Maanvi get a chance to be a part of the wedding!

The channel has charted out an elaborate 13-city plan that will be conducted from 30th September to 7h October across Delhi and UP to Maharashtra. During this on-ground activity, special Maanvi-and-Viraat wedding floats will travel across these cities, announcing the wedding, interacting with viewers and collecting their best wishes for the couple. Viewers will be asked to write personalised and heartfelt messages for the to-be-wed couple on massive greetings cards. A day before the wedding, these greeting cards will be unveiled in front of the couple in a larger than life event and the best messages will get to attend Viraat and Maanvi’s wedding!
