Star Chinese Movies Unveils New Lineup

Star Chinese Movies has unveiled a slate of award winners and box office hits which are scheduled to premiere on the channel in the coming year.

The new lineup follows the channel’s continued efforts to secure pay-TV rights to the majority of Chinese movie productions, more than any other movie channel in the world. Star Chinese Movies is the No. 1 rated Chinese-language movie channel in Taiwan, Singapore and the Philippines.

Star Chinese Movies’ new title lineup includes : The Way We Are, director Ann Hui’s multiple Hong Kong Film Awards winner and its follow-up, Night And Fog , Cape No. 7, multiple Golden Horse Awards winner and highest ever grossing Chinese movie in Taiwan , The Beast Stalker, starring Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actor Nick Cheung , If You Are The One, highest ever grossing Chinese movie in China , Look For A Star, starring Andy Lau and Shu Qi , Lady Cop & Papa Crook, starring Sammie Cheng and Eason Chan , Connected, starring Louis Koo and directed by Benny Chan , Painted Skin, starring Donnie Yen and Zhou Xun , All 5 titles from the Tactical Unit series produced by acclaimed director Johnnie To.

Star Chinese Movies broadcasts three dedicated services for audiences in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore/Philippines, showcasing over 100 movies a month.
