Saleem Mobhani quits Hungama Mobile

Saleem Mobhani, the COO of Hungama Mobile has put in his papers. Mobhani was with Hungama for the last nine years.

In an official communiqué, Neeraj Roy, MD and CEO of Hungama Digital Media said, “Mobhani has opted to take up another assignment. Over the years, he has contributed a lot to Hungama.”

Mobhani is a computer engineer and has about 18 years of experience across mobile, internet and banking domains. He joined Hungama in 2000, when the company acquired, a Bollywood portal co-founded by Saleem and Suleman Mobhani in August 1997. In 2008, the site was re-branded as

Mobhani also worked with Development Credit Bank for about two years, where he accomplished the Y2K transition and conceived and set up the disaster recovery management programme for the bank. He has also worked on establishing the Internet banking system for Development Credit Bank.
