Rashtriya Sahara Media recently launched Dehradun edition of its Hindi daily Rashtriya Sahara. Dehradun edition is sixth edition of group’s daily which has Delhi, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Patna editions.
‘It was a challenge to launch a paper in place where literacy rate is high. We would do justice to the peoples expectation by providing good journalism. Now the media want to serve more in less time and in this changing situation the challenges have doubled’ , Sumit Roy , Rashtriya Sahara Media Head said.
Rashtriya Sahara Media aims at becoming the largest media and entertainment network in the country. Sahara group already has presence in television with Hindi entertainment and news channels. Sahara India has an asset base of over Rs 32,000 crore (Rs 320 billion) and has presence in public deposit mobilisation, housing and consumer products.
