RSS Activists ransack Headlines Today office

RSS workers today ransacked and attacked Headlines Today’s Delhi office . The workers were annoyed with a sting operation which the channel has been airing from last two days. The sting operation according to the channel is about the saffron brigade’s terror agenda against minorities.

Hundreds of RSS activists forcibly entered the office of TV Today network located in Videocon towers, Jhandewalan and smashed panes and doors with garden tools . The flower pots were also thrown on the journalists covering this incident.

RSS workers which were about 500 in number gathered in front of the Headlines Today office and raised slogans against the media group. The attack according to the channel sources was pre planned . Some of the activists had even informed some news channels about the attack.

“Police should take stern action against the attackers. Symbolic action will not do , a strong action is required to tackle such attacks,” Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-Chief ,Times Now said.

Headlines Today had yesterday aired a sting operation on Thursday at 9 PM in which the saffron brigade’s terror agenda against minorities has been exposed. A plot to target Vice-President Hamid Ansari. An RSS functionary mentoring the Ajmer Sharif and Mecca Masjid bomber. And a BJP leader planning an underground outfit to kill Muslims.

Headlines Today has exclusively accessed material – in the form of video tapes and witness accounts available with investigators – that puts elements within the Sangh Parivar under the scanner.

Among those in the dock are RSS leader Indresh Kumar, BJP leader B.L. Sharma, Delhi-based endocrinologist Dr R.P. Singh and Dr Sharad Kunthe, head of the chemistry department at Pune’s Wadia College.

The journalist fraternity has condemned the attack .
