Reliance BIG Entertainment Ltd., the media conglomerate of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) announces the launch of its comprehensive movie & entertainment marketing division – BIG Boom. This new division has been setup to fill the ever increasing void of a fully developed movie & entertainment marketer in India.
Bridging the gap between the film & entertainment world, brand owners & consumers, BIG Boom will not only be the one-stop-shop for all marketing solutions for films, ranging from associative marketing to publicity design, PR, promotions and merchandise, but also assist brands in leveraging the film & entertainment platforms to achieve their business objectives.
BIG Boom is a natural progression in Reliance BIG Entertainment’s bid towards establishing a holistic entertainment and media set-up. With existing interests in film production, distribution and exhibition; home video; music and DVD rentals, BIG Boom will now add to the kitty of what can be offered to film producers and advertisers. BIG Boom will offer opportunities to liaise with and leverage not only the related group businesses, but also the existing group relationships with major brands across the country.
Rajesh Bhushan, with a long & successful past in this business, has been entrusted the responsibility as Business Head of BIG Boom. He says: “Movie marketing has come of age in India. With breakthrough marketing strategies seen for films like Ghajini, Rock On, Om Shanti Om etc., film producers are now realizing the importance of a strategic and cost effective method to promote their films. These are times where every penny counts and Bollywood producers need marketing professionals to generate more bang for every buck while ensuring minimum excess”.
The team at BIG Boom, with years of experience in film and television marketing & creative services, will aim at delivering evolved and effective marketing solutions for films & brands. BIG Boom is currently in talks with major film producers such as Ravi Chopra (BR Films) and others for their upcoming films.
