Red FM, the station for expression, has joined hands with various colleges in Delhi University in an exclusive partnership to broadcast live action from the grounds of their annual cultural fests. Red FM is the exclusive radio partner for Tempest, Ullaas and Mecca – the most talked about college fests of Miranda House, Kamla Nehru College and Hindu College respectively, three of the most premier colleges of Delhi University. Hotbed of a confluence of art, talent and entertainment, these hugely popular annual fests claim participation of thousands of students from Delhi’s top colleges.
Amongst the line up of entertainment for the students is a special ‘Red Superhit Music Zone’ which will play non-stop superhit music throughout the fests. Red FM’s very popular RJs Smiriti and Sachin will be present on-ground to cover some of the events such as DJ Night and Rock Nights and will also take live song requests from the students apart from airing campus snippets. RJ Smiriti will play all these song requests and bytes on her show Toodo Top 20 between 1-3 pm and RJ Sachin will carry the on-ground buzz of these fests, live on his show Atthanni Chawanni between 3-5 pm. To catch up with the itinerary of all the action happening in these fests in advance, one can also tune into the Superhits Music Show between 10 pm to 1 am.
Commenting on the association, Jagdeep Singh, National Head, Events and Station Head, Delhi, Red FM said, “It has been Red FM’s endeavor to get associated with these high energy college festivals as it gives the brand a great opportunity to interact and engage with these young students. Red FM would ensure that non-stop entertainment is provided to not only the students but also to all the listeners who would be listening to the station.”
Red Mike, the award-winning Red FM property that has taken listener interactivity to a whole new level, will make its presence felt here too by taking students’ requests for their favourite music and allowing them to express themselves on the station. Red FM listeners will also get to experience the ‘Bajaate Raho!’ attitude through interactive games, goodies and meeting their favourite RJs.
