Ramita Chaudhuri to Head BIG FM Kolkata

BIG 92.7 FM has announced the appointment of Ramita Chaudhuri as the Station Head-Kolkata. With her new portfolio, Ramita will be working towards developing huge on-air properties for leading brands and providing integrated marketing solutions to clients.

As Station Head – Kolkata, Ramita will report to Rohit Dhar – Regional Director,East, BIG 92.7 FM. Her span of work would encompass overall functioning of the Kolkata station, adding value continuously to station profitability and finally amplifying listenership to an exalting status.

Ramita has over 9 years of rich experience in communications and marketing industry with specialized knowledge in direct marketing and brand management. As the Regional Marketing Head for the eastern region, BIG 92.7 FM (Kolkata, Assam, Bengal, Orissa and Bihar), Ramita’s achievements have been multifarious, successful launch of marketing campaign in Kolkata and 6 cities across east, effective marketing spikes to get Brand Top of Mind and increase listener base – Shonar Brishti, Cool Maal Dhamaal, Tikey Thakun Gadi Jitun, tactical integrated marketing-programming initiatives like Para Picnic and regular local level consumer connect activities, product sampling through radio seeding in auto rickshaws, restaurants, hang outs, other catchments areas, product and marketing re-launch positioning for Bhuvaneswar (Voice of Orissa) and many others.

She had very enriching tenures in esteemed companies like Hutchison Telecom (where she was responsible for the successful launch of Hutch operations at the state level across West Bengal apart from effective ground activation programmes), Lowe (as the Group Account head she has handled clients like Maruti, Panasonic, Convergys, Moving Pictures Ltd etc), Wunderman India (increased business potential for Oracle and retained reputed clients like Jaypee Greens etc as the Account Manager), Imagine Advertising and DIREM.

Ramita holds a master degree in Physics from Calcutta University (Presidency College) and advertising from the Clarion College of Communication and exudes panache in photography in leisure.

    shri partha bhattacharya of Behala has been suffering from acute renal failure. he needs transplantation. he has lost his parents and his job. we find it a cost nearly three lakhs would enable him to get back into life. ask your opinion in this
