Siliguri: Siliguri is all geared up to host ‘The Computer Fair 2010’ scheduled to start on Feb 24.Radio Misty 94.3fm,the first and Number one fm station of North Bengal have partnered with the City’s premier IT fair this year is to be organized by the North Bengal IT Organization (Nito) in association with Kaleidoscope.
The four-day event will end on Feb 27 at the Kanchenjunga Stadium Ground in Siliguri. The association has claimed that the IT fair will witness more than 80,000 attendees from six districts of North Bengal and Sikkim to lay their eyes on the fabulous offerings of new products and technologies in the IT space from more than 50 exhibitors.
NITO has planned a wide variety of programs and shows to be hosted in the fair. Speaking about the plans, Sankar Dhar, Chairman, Fair Committee, NITO said, We will make sure that the show will be packed with global executives from the technology, broadcasting, cable, content, engineering, educational and numerous other industries all meeting at Siliguri. Besides, the association is targeting the markets in North Bengal and Sikkim besides the northeastern border areas. A technical session will be conducted for the visitors, and we shall donate computers to educational institutions.
The show will feature a broad array of exciting products and exhibitor announcements, many of which provide consumers with unprecedented control over when, where and how they watch movies, listen to music, view their digital photos and access information, education and entertainment content. The fair would be a big trend on the show floor in 2010 as traditional product categories will be merged together to create unique, multi-functional digital devices.
