Mumbai: It was not just a meeting of ordinary people; it was a meeting of talent, of people with an ambition and a heart.
Early on Tuesday morning, RJ Jeeturaaj met Bollywood toughie Suniel Shetty who will soon be seen in a film with the talented Nana Patekar and the beautiful Dimple Kapadia. Titled ‘Tum Milo Toh Sahi’, the film, also starring Rehan Khan and Anjana Sukhani, is about ordinary people who become extraordinary with the strength of love. A film about love at different ages, Tum Milo Toh Sahi is about how these ordinary people find their true calling in life by saving an old Irani café against all forces that stand against our traditions.
Suniel Shetty along with director Kabir Sadanand and co-actor Rehan Khan were live on Mumbai’s No. 1 breakfast show – Hi Mumbai. Anna, as he is fondly called, Suniel Shetty spoke about the film and its basic theme of relationships. He revealed how the film was a simple, sincere one. Enjoying his coffee, from a bright yellow Radio Mirchi mug, Shetty said, “Each of us is all praises for the other’s work in the film.” Kabir said he enjoyed working with the entire cast of the film. He said smilingly, “It was great working with Anna and Nana.”
The three of them also expressed their views on social issues. Commenting on Women’s Day yesterday, Suniel said, “I believe that behind every successful man, there is not one, but three women – his mother, his wife and his daughter – all of whom support him at different stages and give him immense strength.”
‘Tum milo toh sahi’ is scheduled to release on 2nd April 2010.
