Mumbai: From its novel platforms for music promotion to launching aspiring talents, Radio Mirchi has constantly defined and set new standards by endorsing the Indian music industry and enriching it with its innovative music campaigns. This time, Radio Mirchi unites with Agnee to take its hunt for local aspiring singers nationwide and give them their place in the limelight with its biggest on-ground reality show ‘Generation A-Star Mirchi Create with Agnee’.
Now cheer for your favourite band, feel the pulsating excitement and get engrossed in the fervour as you hear them perform in city finales and root for them up close on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM.
The campaign was flagged of at Hard Rock Café on May 27th, as Agnee mesmerized everyone with their foot-tapping duet ‘Kaise ho tum’ with Shilpa Rao and hiked up the excitement with their lively rendition of ‘Jee Lay Abhi’ with the vivacious Anushka Manchanda.

With the kind of renditions they’ve given, it’ll be tough for the contestants to try and replicate them… but we’re in a country of singers and we’re sure we’ll meet some super talent on this tour. Now, you don’t just listen to it, but you can also be a part of it’.
With the launch of the songs ‘Kaise ho tum’ and ‘Jee Lay Abhi’, ‘Generation A-Star Mirchi Create with Agnee’ opened its gates for promising singers across the country to register in the contest. All that contestants have to do to gain entry is to sing the launched songs or any other song previously sung by Agnee.
Radio Mirchi and Agnee will tour cities in hunt of local gems stretched over three phases. The first round of screenings will happen in seven cities: Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Pune. Forty contestants will be chosen from the first round by Mirchi RJs and from them, Agnee will shortlist 4 most promising firecrackers who will prove their mettle in live concerts with Agnee.
Agnee will tour the following cities where grand city finales will be held and one winner will be selected from each city – Kolkata (5th June), Delhi (9th June), Ahmedabad (13th June), Hyderabad (16th June), Bengaluru (19th June), Mumbai (22nd June) and Pune (24th June).
