Radio City launches new breakfast show 'Kasa Kai Mumbai'

Radio City 91.1FM, India’ first and leading FM brand has been a proven friend to Mumbai for the last 8 years. And it has always been through a series of initiatives on and beyond air waves, reaching out connecting and touching the lives of Mumbaikars.

Starting Aug 3, 2009 RJs Salil & Archanaa, popular RJs of the Radio City’s all new breakfast show Kasa Kai Mumbai will further reach out to Mumbaikars demonstrating their friendship towards the city and its citizens.

The initiatives like City Taxi which offers free pick & drop service during the rains, the pioneering initiative Chai Garam where both the jocks step out to thank the Mumbai police at traffic signals with a steaming cup of tea have evoked an overwhelming response from listeners. These activities will get further amplified this month with a lot more listeners joining in. To add to this Radio City has launched Chhatri on Demand where the RJs distribute umbrellas to the callers who are stuck during the rains as well as City ka Ganpati where Radio City will give 108 lucky listeners an opportunity to get eco friendly Ganesh idols home. The listeners have to just book the Ganesh idols by sending SMS to 57007. This unique initiative encourages the cityzens to maintain the healthy environment.

In addition Mumbai ke dost RJs Archanaa & Salil will step out each day to personally meet various groups of Mumbaikars, interact with them and showcase their experiences.

The energetic and bubbly RJ Archana will travel in a local train, play Antakshri with her fellow travelers and highlight their experiences. RJ Salil will spend a day with Dabbawallas and explore the precision with which they work and try his hand at delivering the right dabba at the right place. Archana will spend a morning with the vibrant Koli women at the wharf to understand the stories behind their smiles. RJs would be joining the famous laughter club in Priyadarshini Park and sharing his/her experience with the listeners on air.
