The FM network today announcedthe launch of the Radio City School ofBroadcasting (RCSB), an autonomouseducational unit, instituted by MusicBroadcast Private Limited (MBPL) which owns and operates Radio City91.1FM – India’s LeadingRadio Network across 20 cities across India. Leveraging Radio City91.1FM’s 8 year expertise and domain leadership in Indian private FM, the Radio City School of Broadcasting willprovide students a robust trainingplatform, empowering them to make a successful career in Radio.

RCSBoffers a 6 month ‘Certificate Course in Radio Jockeying and Radio Production’which comprises 3-months class room training followed by a 3-month internship at Radio City91.1FM. The classroom training includes two modules comprising an introduction to key elements ofa Radio Station, essential insights on various functions at a Radio Station followedby the 3 month internship across departments like Programming, NationalCreative and Content Integration. Offering students an in-depth learning of theradio business, this course also includes papers like Marketing and Brand Management,Selling Radio, Scope and Future of Internet Radio and Career Management alongwith Radio Production, Radio Jockeying, Music Management, Sound Technology andProgramming.
