Hong Kong :Qin Jia Yuan Media Services Company Limited has announcesd the new advertising rate for its advertising agency business commencing 1 January 2010.
From 1 January 2010, QJY will increase the advertising rate on five of its 24-hour TV channels out of its nine TV channels by 10% to 15%. The five channels with a rate increase of 10% to 15% include Chongqing Entertainment Channel, Hubei Drama Channel, Jiangxi Red Classic Channel, Yunnan Classic People’s Channel and Shanxi Economic Channel.
Advertising clients and advertising agents who place advertisements for 2010 before 1 January 2010 will continue to enjoy the advertising rates as of 2009.
QJY’s announcement on rate rise strategies right before the completion of the nationwide tender activities of the China Central Television and all major provincial TV stations demonstrates its full confidence in the domestic consumer market.
The performance of domestic advertising business in 2009 has been affected by the global economic downturn during the first half of the year. It is expected that the domestic China market will show significant improvement in 2010.
