The CEO-Publishers Conclave organised by IFRA India in the beach city of Panjim in Goa, India, during 16 and 17 September 2008 will feature the opening keynote address by Prof. Dipak Jain of HT Media – Kellogg . Prof. Jain is an eminent management thinker and distinguished academician who has advised media companies around the world.
He is the dean of the Kellogg School of Management since July 2001. Prof. Jain brings more than 20 years of experience in management and education to his position at the school’s helm. He is the Sandy and Morton Goldman Professor in Entrepreneurial Studies and a professor of marketing at the Kellogg School, where he has been a member of the faculty since 1987.
Tomas Brunegard, CEO, Stampen Group, Sweden, will speak on ‘Business Model of Printing & Publishing’. Dr. Horst Pirker, Chairman, Styria Medien Group, Austria, and President of the Board of IFRA, is the valedictory speaker; his subject: ‘Investment Strategies of the Styria Medien Group’. Other speakers include Steve Yelvington, Senior Strategist of Morris Digitalworks, USA, and Tomasz Jozefacki, Head of Internet Division of Agora, Poland. There will also be a panel discussion featuring CEOs of India’s leading newspapers, chaired by Tariq Ansari, Managing Director, Mid Day. Hans-Peter Rohner, CEO, PubliGroupe S.A., Switzerland, will give a special address at the Conclave dinner.
