Prahlad Kakkar, the ad guru and a person with several accolades and titles to his credit will be the Chief Guest at the Graduation Ceremony of the second batch of Graphiti School of Animation. The ceremony will be held on 9th August at the Ravindra Natya Mandir at 7.30 pm onwards.
The students of the institute have created a 3D animation film inspired by the Pancha Tantra. The film titled “Who’s Next” is a 3D animation film produced end to end by the batch of 27 students. The expert faculty mentored and the only studio professional involvement was by Rajiv Panchal, Studio Manager of Graphiti Studio, who directed the film.
“The film’s story is based on the effect of greed on the human beings. The film is of international quality and takes the work of Graphiti one step further. The previous year’s film posted on “YouTube” received worldwide recognition as professional quality work” commented K. Pandyan, Director, Graphiti School of Animation.
Ram Mohan says “We are very proud of the work submitted by these youngsters. They are changing the way the industry is and the way it is viewed. These very talented students are already ‘work ready’ and with some able guidance and training will be producers of very intense and exquisite work”.
Interestingly, Prahlad’s association with Graphiti School of Animation goes way back to when his voice launched the school promos. You can see literally animated Prahlad in the film made by the first year graduating students of the school. Prahlad Kakkar will also give away the graduation certificates at the ceremony.
Rajiv Panchal, Director of the film, said that, “It was exciting to work with the young minds, and it was an experience and learning for me. They were so dynamic, hard working and so swift that they surpassed my expectations.”
