Omnicom , Fudan University Hold Third Session of Digital Marketing Training Program

Shanghai: Omnicom Group Inc., one of the world’s leading advertising and marketing services groups, is running its third series of executive training programs on digital marketing in partnership with Fudan University in Shanghai. The program, named “digital: works,” was begun in 2008 and is geared to help agencies and brand marketers train their staff to gain professional digital marketing skills. The course is designed, managed and run by Omnicom agencies and Fudan University’s School of Journalism.

The successful 2009 and 2010 digital: works programs attracted distinguished speakers from China’s new media industry and academia. The audiences were composed of client, agency and industry marketing professionals. Follow-up surveys showed that 100% of participants felt they had acquired useful knowledge they could implement in their work.

The program is divided into three modules: an introduction to the Internet, including an overview of China’s new media history,in-depth training on digital marketing strategy and tactics and insights on how the Internet and digital marketing are changing the business landscape and communications industry .

Classes are taught by senior professionals with practical in-depth experience from Omnicom agencies; by professors and scholars from Fudan University and other leading Chinese universities; and by top-level marketing executives. Participants receive a Professional Training Certificate from Fudan University upon successful completion of the program.
