Campaign to Increase Brand Awareness and Build the Corporate Identity of Parent Company EPRO Systems Limited in Hong Kong

Hong Kong: DealExtreme.com, a next generation online shopping center, has appointed Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR) to raise its brand awareness in Hong Kong and build the corporate identity of its parent company EPRO Systems Limited (EPRO).

DealExtreme.com, founded in 2006, is one of the world’s largest online shopping centre of its category in terms of revenue and customers, selling a large variety of gadgets from the world’s smallest bluetooth adaptor to large toy helicopters. It processes one purchase every three seconds from 2.4 million customers across 200 countries worldwide and stocks over 60,000 products sourced from across China.

“It is an exciting time for DealExtreme as we continue to attract millions of consumers globally,” said Candice Liu, President, Business, EPRO. “We required a public relations partner that really understands our business and our industry. Ogilvy PR not only has the industry credentials, but demonstrated insights and strategic thinking to help us achieve our goals.”

EPRO, a listed company in Hong Kong established in 1985, has built a strong presence in China since 1990. Under the agreement, Ogilvy PR is tasked with raising awareness of DealExtreme.com’s parent company and demonstrating the attractiveness of EPRO as an investment option.

“With the world focusing on this part of the world, we see growing opportunities for Chinese brands to play a major role in the global economic growth. As pioneer brands, EPRO and dealextreme.com will no doubt have major influence on the way the ecommerce will develop in the future,” said Clara Shek, Managing Director, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Hong Kong.
