Ogilvy & Mather Singapore was named ‘Creative Agency of the Year’ at Marketing magazine’s Agency of the Year gala dinner last night, for the fourth year running – solidifying the agency’s reputation as one of the region’s creative powerhouses.
Reflecting the agency’s versatility and strength across the disciplines, Ogilvy Singapore picked up the following accolades in the client-voted show: Gold in the Creative Agency category, and Silver and Bronze in the Direct Marketing Agency and Email Marketing Agency categories respectively for OgilvyOne. The agency was also a finalist in the Web Design Agency and Online Advertising Agency categories. In addition, Ogilvy PR was a finalist in the Public Relations Agency category.
Says Mark Wong, Managing Director, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, “In tough market conditions, outstanding creative output becomes more imperative as clients demand more bang for their buck. Clients’ feedback matters to us and to be named Creative Agency of the Year by their votes is very gratifying indeed.”
Ogilvy swept the competition away and retained the Creative Agency of the Year title with more than 17 percent of the votes, higher than last year’s count. This was also more than 10 points ahead of the nearest competitor.
