Team Percept achieved a hat-trick by defeating Rediffussion DY&R in the finals of the prestigious ‘CAG Shield Cricket Tournament 2009’, an annual cricket tournament organized for the advertising fraternity, held at the Mumbai Cricket Association Ground, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra, on Sunday, April 12, 2009.
The CAG Shield Cricket Tournament is the largest cricketing tournament in the advertising fraternity and Percept achieved a hat-trick by winning this coveted tournament for the third time in a row. In all, this is the ninth year that Percept has won this tournament in its 12 year history.
Siddharth Kadam received the prestigious ‘Man of the Match’ Award and the ‘Best Batsman of the Tournament’ Award. S. Mulla was awarded the ‘Best Bowler of the Tournament’ Award.
The other teams included Group M, O&M Advertising, Adfactors, Euro RSCG, RK Swamy, Contract Advertising, Network Advertising, Mudra, Dentsu and Ignitee.
