Anand Sharma assumes charge of I&B Ministry

Anand Sharma, the Minister of State in the Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday assumed the charge of Minister of State in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting with effect from October 18, 2008. He will continue to hold the charge of the office of Minister of State in the Ministry External Affairs.

The Cabinet Secretariat has issued a notification to this effect.
