Rukin Kizilbash appointed Chief Operating Officer, PDM India

Rukin Kizilbash has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), PDM India with effect from 23 June 2010. PDM is a division of Percept Limited, an entertainment, media and communications company.

Manuj Agarwal has stepped down from his post as the COO, PDM India.

Rukin will be responsible for overseeing the entire business of PDM India, including Activation, Sports Marketing, Promotions, Sponsorship Sales, Events, and IPR Development & Management. 

On his appointment Rukin Kizilbash, COO, PDM India said, "PDM is a dynamic and vibrant organization, and a leader in the experiential marketing arena. I am eagerly looking forward to taking up the mandate of guiding PDM to new and exciting horizons. With the roster of impressive brand activations and intellectual properties already in place at PDM, we are well poised to take the company to the next level and create a powerhouse of talent and a wide range of products, which will be the very best in its field".

Prior to joining Percept, Rukin was heading Ten Sports in India and was responsible for the overall growth of the channel in the sub-continent. He was a part of Ten Sports since its inception in India, and as Vice President- Ad sales he built and led a team par excellence which sold the historic India Tour of Pakistan in 2004, achieving the highest rates ever sold for a cricket property on television till that time. As Head – Ad Sales, Rukin took Ten Sports to new heights with his cutting edge strategy, vision and leadership. Ten Sports can boast of many ‘firsts’ and milestone achievements which can be attributed to Rukin’s leadership. 

Rukin came to Ten Sports with more than 15 years of experience in the television sports broadcast industry in India including five years with ESPN Star Sports and a brief stint with IMG.

Rukin keeps fit by playing squash and tennis. He was also a member of the all India Rugby Team.
