New Delhi :Coomi Kapoor, editor and columnist, was elected unanimously as the secretary general of the Editors Guild of India, the Guild said in a press release Thursday.
Rajdeep Sardesai, editor in chief of CNN IBN, and Rohit Bansal, senior editor, have been re-elected as president and treasurer respectively at the annual general meeting held in New Delhi Dec 22.
Kapoor has served as resident editor of The Indian Express Group. She succeeds K.S. Sachidananda Murthy, resident editor, Malayala Manorama and The Week, who was secretary general for three terms.
