DB Corp reports 18 percent revenue growth

DB Corp Ltd,publishers of Dainik Bhaskar,Saurashtra Samachar and Divya Bhaskar has reported an 18 per cent increase in advertising revenues to Rs 2,357 million in Q1 FY11 from Rs 2,000 million in Q1 of FY10.

“Our performance in the current quarter reiterates our optimism for the growing strength of regional print media and DBCL’s endeavours and ability to leverage this potential. ” Sudhir Agarwal, Managing Director, DB Corp Ltd, said.

According to a release consolidated EBIDTA margin of DB Corp Ltd stood at Rs 1,136 million against Rs 937 million in the corresponding period of last year.

DB Corp Ltd has retained position as the largest print media group amongst national dailies with 15.8 million readers across India’s fastest growing markets.
