Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala's first IT-specific news portal, www.keralaitnews.com, was launched Tuesday by the state's IT Secretary Ajay Kumar.
"This new portal has an important role in projecting and popularising the brand Kerala IT," said Kumar after unveiling the portal here.
Added Sanjeev Ramachandran, editor of the portal: "Our aim is to make Kerala IT News the one-stop-shop for all IT news and IT-related jobs" in the state, which is witnessing fast expansion of the IT sector.
"Information on IT will now have a single platform, be it government initiatives or happenings in and around the various IT parks," he said.
