The 21st Eurobest awards, Europe’s leading creative advertising competition for TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Interactive, Direct, Sales Promotion, Media, Integrated and also from this year Design, is now open for entries. All entries can be submitted online at eurobest.com and Entries deadline is Friday 26 September 2008.
This year Eurobest introduces Design. The dedicated Design jury will consider the creative and innovative use of design of each entry and its ability to communicate brand and product messages and influence consumers. Entries will be rewarded for Creativity, Originality, Execution and Consumer Engagement.
"Eurobest is the preeminent awards for Europe - the celebration of the best advertising from Europe will be even bigger this year as it will be the culmination of the 1st Eurobest Festival", commented Philip Thomas, Eurobest CEO.
Judging will take place on-site at the Berns hotel in Stockholm, the venue for the first 3-day Eurobest Advertising Festival, which will culminate in the winners being revealed and honoured on the 3rd of December 2008, during the Eurobest awards ceremony held in Stockholm’s historic China Theatre, adjacent to the Berns hotel. The celebrations will continue at the after-show party at the Berns Hotel. During the 3-day Eurobest Festival, a programme of seminars and workshops addressing current issues of the European communications industry will take place.
