BIG 92.7 FM is celebrating the festival of God Krishna – Janmashtami in a BIG way, making it special for all the Delhi-ite starting from 18 August and culminating with a grand celebration on 24 August. Both the on-air and on-ground promotions have been customized with keeping in mind the ‘Naughtiness of God Krishna’.
“ At BIG 92.7 FM, we try and impact the lives of our listeners in innovative yet entertaining ways. The philosophy behind celebrating Janmashtami is to give a young and fresh perspective to this celebration. Janmashtami is the most important day for all the Lord Krishna devotees and hence to make it all the more special, we have put in place some great on-air and on-ground offerings for our listeners ,” Manisha Tripathi, Station Director, BIG 92.7 FM- Delhi said .
Celebrations will include both on-air and on-ground promotions and activities… Build- up of the festival started on- air from the 18 August with ‘BIG Natkhat’ – a prank call activity where listeners played pranks with near and dear ones. Other on-air activities include: Music innovation – a special “naughty chartbusters” have been identified to play on Big 92.7 FM during this time; also direct updates will be given from the ISCON and BIRLA temple in Delhi along with relevant updates like – Traffic situation, Security Management and Special Train updates.
Big FM offers listeners an opportunity to participate in Best Jhanki Competition. Listeners have to register themselves for the same through SMS. BIG RJs will be seen visiting these Jhanki for judging the best Jhanki of the city. Links from various prominent locations like temples, markets, RWA/Societies will be aired throughout the day.
