Hindustan Media Ventures Limited will launch Gorkhpur edition of its Hindi daily Dainik Hindustan . Mr Nagender has been named as the resident editor of the new edition which will have 18 pages in the begining.
Present Gorkhpur edition is being printed from Lucknow. The new edition has been planned to cater to section A and Section B of the readers.The Gorkhpur edition is slated to be launched in September this year.
Dainik Hindustan currently has four printing centres in Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh states. The daily publishes 113 sub editions.
Dainik Hindustan which wants to penetrate into the eastern Uttar Pradesh market will face stiff competition from market leaders like Dainik Jagran and Amar Ujala.
Hindustan Media Ventures Limited had earlier launched Bareily edition.
