Bhaskar group pegs 15 percent revenue growth

DB Corp (publishers of Dainik Bhaskar, Business Bhaskar and Divya Bhaskar newspaper brands) is expecting a 15 percent topline revenue growth in the current financial world.

DB Corp sources said if the current growth (16-17 % per quarter) continued, the company will easily achieve a 15 percent growth target.

"We have registered about 17 percent advertising revenue growth during the May-June which is higher than the earlier quarter. We hope that we will maintain the 32 percent EBITDA margin this year too," Girish Aggarwal,Director, D B Corp said.

DB Corp has planned new newspaper editions in Bihar, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir states.The company has registered 11 percent growth during the last financial year and the revenue has touched Rs 809 crore mark out of which net profit is Rs 180 crore.

D B Corp brings out 27 editions in nine states and is focusing on internal growth than acquisitions.

"We are not against acquisitions and mergers but it is not possible at this state," Girish Aggarwal says.
