Navia Asia has won the out of home (OOH) duties for Uninor, the Indian brand name of the telecom company Unitech Wireless, following a multi-agency pitch that involved Primesite and OAP, among others for the Rs. 10 crore account.
Uninor is a joint venture between one of India’s largest diversified real estate majors, Unitech Ltd and Norway-based Telenor Group which is the world’s 6th largest mobile services provider. Unitech Wireless holds a pan-India UAS license to offer mobile telephony services in each of the 22 circles in India.
The brand also unifies the global telecom expertise of the Telenor Group and Unitech Ltd’s presence and understanding of the Indian market.
The media and creative duties for Uninor are being handled by ZenithOptimedia and Leo Burnett respectively.
