National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) has further expanded its reach with the launch of National Geographic Channel HD (NGC HD) in Austria and Switzerland. Beginning this month, NGC HD will be available through the UPV digital cable TV networks in both countries.
NGC HD showcases National Geographic’s top rating programmes spanning wildlife, science, technology and culture. With world-class scientists and cutting-edge filmmakers, viewers will be transported from their living rooms into some of the most visually stunning places on earth with incredible clarity, breathtaking colour and superior sound quality.

NGC HD is available in territories around the world including the US, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland with further expansion expected globally.
