MediaE2E has announced the appointment of Myleeta Aga as Head of Content and Co-founder. Myleeta will be heading up a content team to enrich existing product features for MediaE2E as well as develop new programming outlets and creative strategies for expansion.
Myleeta brings to MediaE2E, over 15 years of international experience in creating hit television programmes and building winning teams. Most recently at Travel Channel, USA, Myleeta was nominated for an Emmy as Executive Producer for Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Travel Channel’s most successful series to date, that airs in over 50 countries. Over the course of 65 episodes Myleeta oversaw production across the globe from Laos and Korea to Saudi Arabia to Iceland and Columbia. Myleeta also led the marketing, production and launch of Into the Kombai Tribe, a top rated Tribal Reality Series, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern and Five Takes, a path breaking interactive series while at the Travel Channel.
At Discovery Communications, Myleeta managed the launch and customization of global promotables like Walking with Dinosaurs, Living with Tigers and Space Blast, and was part of the executive team that researched the feasibility and proposed launch plans for a host of lifestyle channels across the globe. At GAPC Entertainment in London, she set up animation and internet based business opportunities for her Canadian partners prior to leading production on Indonesia’s top rated format series, based out of Pearson Television’s office in Jakarta. Myleeta began her career in television with UTV in Mumbai, and subsequently set up Singapore’s first independent production studio where she ran operations, business development and production for UTV International.
