MY FM organises ‘Airtel MY Fresh Face of Punjab 2010’

New Delhi : 94.3 MY FM in alliance with Airtel recently presented ‘Airtel MY Fresh Face of Punjab 2010’. This is the first time ever when MY FM partnered with Airtel for such a unique initiative.

The MY Fresh Face talent hunt targeted 83 colleges in 6 leading cities of Punjab including Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bhatinda and Jallandher. After a thorough search and engaging almost about 160000 students, MY FM scrolled down to the rightful winners in a systematic and fair way.

The talent hunt flagged off in Chandigarh, with an objective of identifying the fresh face that will encompass the values needed to carry out the prestigious title with grace. The hunt was an attempt to offer a platform to aspiring young talents, eager to carve a name for them in the glamour world. MY FM is keen to help the youth of today to explore them in a more unique way.

The MY FM RJ’s played a prominent role in finding the MY FM Fresh Face as they walked in to, various college campuses and understood and judged the personality of the students by conducting games, puzzles and other fun activities and finally selecting 1000 semi finalists out of 10000 students who auditioned for it. The RJ’s handed over goodies like pens and bags to the participants. The on air part of the talent hunt included live links from colleges in different cities as an effort to make an inter city connect and promote the hunt on a massive scale.

The finals for MY FM Fresh Face took place in SD College with 26 participants who were judged basis their performance in fashion shows, individual skill performances and Q’s & A’s round.

The selected lucky winners took away Hero Honda Hulk and the PLEASURE of being titled Mr. & Ms Fresh Face of Punjab 2010 along with the honor to play the leading roles in upcoming Punjabi videos.

The Talent hunt received a phenomenal response as close to 5000 students gathered to see the finals and cheer the participants, at SD College.
