MY FM bags five Golden Mikes Radio Advertising Awards

my_fm_pic_logoMumbai: 94.3 MY FM, India’s local FM network, recently won five awards at Golden Mikes Radio Advertising Awards 2012 for their remarkable performance in creativity & innovative client solutions. The 5 awards conferred to MY FM were in the domain of excellence in Promotions, Creativity, Innovations and Effectiveness.

Delighted with the response that, Harrish M. Bhatia, CEO, 94.3 MY FM expressed, “These awards further strengthen our credentials in the area of creativity and innovation and I am happy that the industry and the eminent jury have acknowledged the hard work. We are honoured to have received these awards and will strive for more. I would also take this opportunity to thank our listeners, clients & the jury members as without their support this would not have been possible”.

The jury this year was led by Lynn De Souza, Chairman and CEO, Lintas Media Group. Other prominent names in the jury panel were: Sandeep Sharma, President, R K Swamy Media Group Abraham Alapatt, Head – Marketing, Thomas Cook India; MK Anand, MD, Disney Media Network and other eminent professionals..

Golden mikes received more than 400 entries this year, out of which 172 entries were shortlisted. MY FM received 10 nominations by the jury.

Exchange4Media’s Golden Mikes Radio Advertising Awards, which is in its 3rd year, acknowledges the best of work done in radio & media industry. The purpose is to create a benchmark for various players in the industry who plan & execute their campaigns with novelty & creativity. It will help to further improve the performance & innovation in the radio space .The awards have been carved into various categories acknowledging the contribution of advertising agencies, media agencies, clients, radio stations, production houses and others to the growth of the medium in the country. The categories addressed the performance of various media houses in Effectiveness, Creativity, Promotions and Innovation of the campaigns. Nominations received were from top advertising agencies & media organizations. Contestants this year were top advertising agencies like Leo Burnett.
